Last hours of The Labyrinth—3 new books and a 4th likely
over 5 years ago – Tue, Jul 31, 2018 at 05:09:20 PM

We are in the final three hours of the campaign for John Scott Tynes' new sourcebook Delta Green: The Labyrinth. That campaign has been a smashing success, funding not just The Labyrinth but also Dennis Detwiller's sourcebook Those Who Come After, Caleb Stokes' infamous campaign God's Teeth, downloadable and paperback handout kits for all three books, and five Labyrinth-related scenarios. And we're a hair's-breadth from funding a sixth scenario, and Final Passages, a new hardback book collecting all six.

We have so many other announcements. Our deluxe, annotated, illustrated edition of The King in Yellow has hit its sales target and is coming in the spring. Wrestlenomicon is imminent, and we'll be playing tons of it at Gen Con this week. The Unspeakable Oath is back at last with a new issue.

Get all the news and back The Labyrinth while you still can.

Our hours are nearly ended.

Tynes' Narrative Sandboxes -- and ENnie Voting
almost 6 years ago – Sun, Jul 22, 2018 at 12:09:58 AM

John Scott Tynes, co-creator of Delta Green and author of Delta Green: The Labyrinth, was good enough to write a short essay on what inspired his approach to investigative gaming and to The Labyrinth in particular.

Read John's thoughts at the latest Labyrinth update.

The Labyrinth's campaign has unlocked a new hardback sourcebook by John Scott Tynes, another by Dennis Detwiller (coming after he finishes Impossible Landscapes), two kits of props and handouts, and two new scenarios. Back it now.

Voting Ends Tonight

It's almost over. ENnie Awards voting ends tonight. This is your last chance to use the awards to help spread the word about Delta Green. Every single vote counts. Vote “1” for Delta Green in seven (!) categories:

ENnie Awards voting has begun. Vote Delta Green!

Nominees are selected by a panel of judges who know RPGs inside and out. Being nominated is a tremendous honor all its own—and this year, Delta Green was nominated seven times. But a win of silver or gold is even better—and the winners are selected by YOU, the gamers of the world. If you like what we have done with Delta Green, this is a critically important way to show it.

Delta Green is up for seven awards this year:

And Arc Dream Publishing is up for Fan Favorite Publisher.

We urge you to VOTE “1” for Delta Green and Arc Dream. Vote “2” for your second-favorite pick, “3” for third-favorite, and so on.

Be sure to read the voting instructions carefully before you make a choice.

Voting ends Saturday, 21 JUL 2018. Cast your votes now.

The Labyrinth Closes Around Us

Delta Green: The Labyrinth, John Scott Tynes’ book of new organizations to deepen your campaigns, is fully funded. Backers will get the PDF version in spring 2019 and the full-color hardback in summer 2019. Back The Labyrinth now to reserve your copy—it will ship to backers first—and to get all its stretch goals.

In fact, The Labyrinth already hit its first stretch goal: all backers will get a downloadable kit of props and handouts at no charge. And it is closing in on its next stretch goal, a new scenario to introduce agents to one of the groups from The Labyrinth, which all backers will be able to download free.

Enter the Labyrinth with John Scott Tynes
almost 6 years ago – Mon, Jul 09, 2018 at 11:38:37 PM

Delta Green co-creator John Scott Tynes returns with new threats, allies and mysteries to deepen the terrors of your campaign. It's time to enter the Labyrinth.

Delta Green: The Labyrinth is on Kickstarter until July 31.

https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/arcdream/delta-green-the-labyrinth

Delta Green: The Labyrinth takes Delta Green agents beyond the beltway and deep into the fissures of America in the new millennium. From Silicon Valley startups to industrialist Super-PACs, from Oregon anarchist collectives to alt-right activists, from the depths of Reddit to this morning's livestreams, American life has entered a labyrinth of twisty passages all alike. And while there are many ways in, there is no way out.

Written by Delta Green co-creator John Scott Tynes, this all-new collection of organizations presents ready-made sources of allies, enemies, mysteries, and surprises for your Delta Green campaign. Each group has its own story arc, progressing through three stages as it encounters Delta Green agents and the evils they fight. Some groups corrode, wither, and die. Others gain hideous strength and uncover profound new horrors. Each has connections to other groups, ensuring that players find fresh hells at every turn. But all are destined to change — and the journey each one takes holds up a mirror to the agents themselves.

Because things fall apart. The center cannot hold. And once you enter the Labyrinth, you will never escape.

Next week, John Scott Tynes leads us into The Labyrinth

John Scott Tynes returns to Delta Green

Pagan Publishing founder and Delta Green co-creator John Scott Tynes is returning to the world of Delta Green with an all-new sourcebook for Delta Green: The Role-Playing Game.

In an encrypted message left in an unlisted voicemail drop, John told us: “After completing the new edition of Puppetland for Arc Dream last year and contributing to the new edition of Unknown Armies for Atlas Games, I found myself haunted by strange dreams of an America plagued by discord, ruled by monsters, and slouching towards one of several moral or literal apocalypses. Fortunately, none of that is happening in the real world, so this seemed like the perfect time to explore these completely fictional ideas in the world of Delta Green.”

We're very excited to have John back in the world he was so fundamental in shaping. His first book will be Delta Green: The Labyrinth.

The Labyrinth takes Delta Green agents beyond the beltway and deep into the fissures of America in the new millennium. From Silicon Valley startups to industrialist Super-PACs, from Oregon anarchist collectives to alt-right activists, from the depths of Reddit to today’s livestreams, American life has entered a labyrinth of twisty passages all alike. And just like a circle, one measures a labyrinth beginning anywhere.
