Delta Green: The Role-Playing Game

Created by Arc Dream Publishing

Lovecraftian cosmic terror meets the War on Terror. The award-winning RPG setting comes thundering back in a new Cthulhu Mythos game.

Latest Updates from Our Project:

"The Fall" and "Future/Perfect"
over 3 years ago – Fri, Apr 20, 2018 at 09:32:28 PM

The Fall of Delta Green is at the printer. Pelgrane Press, its publisher, will deliver it to our Kickstarter backers before anyone else. We will send backer addresses to them next week. If you have the hardback edition of The Fall of Delta Green as a reward, please go to BackerKit and confirm your mailing address

Future/Perfect 2

Delta Green: Future/Perfect Part 2 is now available, updated for Delta Green: The Role-Playing Game and comprehensively edited and reorganized. If your Kickstarter rewards included some variation of "all the PDFs funded by this project," you should have a download code for it in your Digital Downloads in BackerKit.

The King in Yellow

After only two days, our deluxe edition of The King In Yellow is already more than a third of the way toward its funding target. Annotated by Kenneth Hite, illustrated in charcoal and full color by Samuel Araya, designed by Simeon Cogswell, and with a foreword by John Scott Tynes, this will be a beautiful presentation of one of our favorite books. Pre-order now.

The King in Yellow -- Annotated and Illustrated
over 3 years ago – Wed, Apr 18, 2018 at 09:18:14 PM

Shane Ivey here from Arc Dream Publishing. We're eagerly awaiting confirmation from the printer that the Handler's Guide and slipcases have made it onto the boats heading to our U.S. and U.K. warehouses. In fact, they sent a handful of advance copies for inspection and they looked terrific. Photos of those soon.

A Night at the Opera has gone to the printer. I'm nearly done prepping the updated edition of Future/Perfect, Part 2. I have all the documents for Redacted Files—a book of U.S. federal agencies that did not make it into the Agent's Handbook—in hand and ready for editing. We're working on PISCES, Deep State, and the King in Yellow campaign Impossible Landscapes.

Speaking of the King in Yellow...

Have You Found the Yellow Sign?

Dennis and I have been planning for years with Sam Araya and Ken Hite to create an annotated, deluxe edition of The King in Yellow itself, Robert W. Chambers' classic collection of short stories. I am excited to report that it is finally going forward. Pre-order here and watch for previews, excerpts, and commentary. It will be gorgeous.

Sweetness, Landscapes, Opera, and Elder Dice
over 3 years ago – Tue, Mar 27, 2018 at 10:49:15 PM

The Handler's Guide and the slipcase set of Delta Green: The Role-Playing Game are still on track for delivery in late May. The latest round of proofs are coming in this week before they commence the full print run. If your rewards in BackerKit include "The Case Officer's Handbook" in hardback, you will get the slipcase set with both the Agent's Handbook and the Handler's Guide.

Inside Impossible Landscapes

On Patreon and Drip, Dennis Detwiller recently posted designer's notes and an extensive preview of Delta Green: Impossible Landscapes. Sign up at Patreon or Drip to see. Pre-order Impossible Landscapes in hardback or pdf at BackerKit.

Now Available: Sweetness

The newest Delta Green scenario is Sweetness, written and illustrated by Dennis Detwiller.

The Bernier family of Tampa, Florida, has been terrorized by a fire and weird graffiti. Police suspect a hate crime. The mark on the door, carved with a horn or a claw and smeared with blood and effluvia, makes Delta Green think otherwise. One of their experts says it’s the symbol of Kore, queen of the underworld, goddess of an ancient mystery cult. The sign has been seen in old tomes that had deadly hypergeometrical effects. It may be a far deeper threat than anyone suspects. Delta Green’s agents must discover the connection between a loving family and an unnatural force that might claim them all.

41 and a Wake-Up

The pre-order program for Delta Green: A Night at the Opera needs only 41 more orders. When it hits the goal, it gets a beautiful hardback printing.

A look at the slipcase
over 3 years ago – Wed, Mar 14, 2018 at 10:04:07 PM

We have received a mock-up of the slipcase from the printer, and we are very excited. It features the name of the game on the spine, a green delta on the front, and a familiar pattern embossed into the surface.

With the books, it weighs about 7 lbs, so I expect it to count as Armor 5 in a pinch.

A New Link

Delta Green: The Role-Playing Game is now available on DriveThruRPG as a single download containing both volumes, the Agent's Handbook and the Handler's Guide. We have updated your BackerKit digital downloads accordingly. If your rewards include the "Case Officer's Handbook," which is now the slipcase set, that download link is for the two-volume set. We encourage you to redeem that link to add it to your DriveThruRPG library. And then please add a quick rating to tell others what you think of it.

International Options for A Night at the Opera

When we launched Delta Green: A Night at the Opera as a pre-order on the main Arc Dream web store, its international shipping rates were prohibitively high. That's because that web store is hooked into our main warehouse in the U.S., which delivers international orders via the U.S. Postal Service and charges USPS rates.

We have implemented an alternative that may be better for those of you outside the U.S. You can now pre-order A Night at the Opera at BackerKit. We have set its non-U.S. shipping rates based on those of the U.K. warehouse which fulfills our international Kickstarter deliveries. That means the shipping rates are more reasonable for most customers outside the U.S.

If you already placed an order at the Arc Dream web store with its higher shipping rates, you can cancel that order and place a new one at BackerKit.

Rewards Status Summary

This Kickstarter project funded so many works that it's easy to lose track of them all. We have launched a new Kickstarter Rewards Report post at Delta-Green.com to show which rewards have already been delivered and which ones are still in progress. We will update the page from time to time, so check back whenever you get curious about what's still to come.

Delta Green in Stores

We have a long line of Delta Green products in retail distribution and many more to come. See the March catalog at arcdream.com. Tell your friendly local game store to order from their favorite distributor. If the distributor does have it, the store can order straight from our sales agents at Studio 2 Publishing.

Golden Geeks Reminder

We are up for Golden Geek awards! Voting is restricted to active BoardGameGeek users. If that's you, please vote!

Coming Soon

We and our friends have a lot of new work coming out. Some of it has been in development for a long, long time.

  • The Unspeakable Oath 25 is now in layout. After such a long hiatus, it returns with a deluxe, full-color issue—and a new Patreon program to produce more Cthulhu Mythos RPG materials of the same high quality.
  • This summer, watch for Elder Things, a compilation of Unspeakable Oath issues 22, 23, and 24, with all scenarios and mosters updated to Call of Cthulhu 7th Edition or Delta Green: The Role-Playing Game.
  • Wrestlenomicon's playtest will wrap up this week and will go to its own Kickstarter project soon. We are editing the videos now.
  • An annotated, deluxe edition of Robert Chambers' The King in Yellow will be available as a pre-order soon. Samuel Araya's spectacularly creepy paintings are all finished, we have preliminary layout treatments, and Kenneth Hite is on hand to write the annotations after his current work on the new edition of Vampire: The Masquerade. This will be a beautiful book.
  • Look for a King in Yellow tarot deck on Kickstarter later this year. Kurt Komoda already finished a full run of card designs in rough black and white, based on the deck imagined by John Tynes and Dan Harms in Delta Green: Countdown.

Thank you again for backing Delta Green!
